Where are your products made?
Paper Spaceships products are all designed by artist Maile Lani (meee!) in Nashville, Tennessee. I work closely with manufactures in Yiwu City, Central Zhejiang Province, China to have my designs manufactured, ensuring that the products are ethically made.
Every single hair accessory in my collection has been hand made from start to finish. The only thing that a machine does is cut out and engrave the pieces of cellulose acetate. Everything else was done by a human.
I post a lot of the videos that my manufacturer sends me on Instagram because I think it's important to share just how much work goes into these products. Here are a few process videos I've shared from the manufacturing of the Night Skies collection!
